Tyre Safety
Tyres are the most important component on your vehicle when we talk about road safety. This is because your tyres are the only contact point between the vehicle and the road surface. The condition of your tyre directly impacts the steering, braking, acceleration, stability and comfort of your ride.
This is why it is crucial for your safety, the safety of others and the performance of your vehicle that you do a tyre check monthly and before any long distance trips. It doesn't take long to perform a tyre check just follow the 3 easy steps below.
If you're still unsure about your tyre's health feel free to contact us and book a tyre inspection.

AIR
Check that there is the recommended amount of air in the tyres (should be in the vehicle handbook, door jams and sometimes located on the fuel filler cap.
Even though some cars have Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems its always wise to also perform a manual check.

Condition
Check the condition of the tyres making sure there are no cracks, splits, punctures or cuts, bulges and no exposed cords.

Tread
Check the tyres tread, most tyres have markers called tread wear indicators, they are raised bars in the grooves.
